A barbecue restaurant in Khon Kaen is offering free meals to customers on Sunday if Manchester United wins the FA Cup on Saturday night. The upcoming 143rd FA Cup Final will see Manchester United face Premier League champions, Manchester City.

Anankit or Bank, the 38 year old manager of Man Nua Buffet Barbecue on Chaloem Phrakiat Road, Khon Kaen Municipality, announced this special promotion. The restaurant aims to give back to its customers through this event.

If the Red Devils emerge victorious on Saturday, the restaurant will provide free meals to the first 100 customers who arrive on Sunday sporting a Manchester United shirt.

The free meal offer will begin at 4.30pm on Sunday and will continue until all 100 spots are filled. In addition to the regular buffet, the restaurant will also serve a special menu item, a larb dish with duck, in an effort to truly enhance the special occasion.

This initiative is designed to reward United fans while bringing an exciting atmosphere to the community.

Despite Man United being the underdog in this match, the excitement surrounding a single-elimination game means that anything is possible. The FA Cup, known for its rich history as the oldest football competition in the world, adds to the anticipation and hope among fans.

For Anukit, this event is about more than just the game, it’s about community spirit and enjoying the moment together, not only for common fans of the club but for the local community as a whole.

The restaurant’s initiative has already garnered significant attention from local fans, eager to support their team and potentially enjoy a free meal. The gesture not only promotes the restaurant but also strengthens the bond of locals through a common shared interest.

The event is expected to draw a large crowd, and fans are advised to arrive early to secure their spot among the first 100. This creative promotion showcases how local businesses can engage with their communities through shared interests like football, fostering a sense of unity and excitement, reported Sanook.
